Zara To Expand Following Impressive 2010 Profit
Zara Group to target China following their Profits soaring in 2010. Inditex is the world’s largest clothing retailer and owns the Zara chain which currently operates in 77 countries around the world. They now plan to accelerate Zara’s expansion in China, as Zara’s annual profits grew by nearly a third in 2010. Impressive stuff!

14 years ago today, Roberto Cavalli was sentenced to 14 months in prison, after being found guilty of tax evasion. This Friday will see two of his peers find out if they will stand trial for the same crime. Dolce & Gabbana are in big trouble after an investigation found that Domenico and Stefano failed to pay taxes on over $1 BILLION in revenue. And it would seem D&G might not be as lucky as their ole pal Roberto [who didn’t do any time], as the prosecution is seeking a criminal indictment against Dolce & Gabbana for fraud and setting up a fake company. Though 5 years is the usually the maximum sentence, other details specific to the case could see another two years added to that sentence. Oh well, at least jumpsuits have made a comeback eh boys?

Appointment
Actress Amber Heard has been scouted by luxury brand Guess to face their new campaign. Speaking of the appointment, Heard said; “I’ve been a huge fan of GUESS for a long time and to be the new face of the Fall 2011 campaign is very exciting. It was such an amazing experience to have been able to work with some of the most creative talents in the industry, such as Paul Marciano and Ellen Von Unwerth, who have collaborated on some of the most iconic campaigns in GUESS history.”
